Great post, Bro Billy! Jesus is the perfect example of how we should be with everyone. We have to spend time with the lost to earn the right to speak into their lives, but at the same time we are to keep our lives pure. While we are to influence them, we are not to allow them to influence us.

We serve one or the other, we love one or the other, we yoke up with one or the other, we model one or the other. If we need to be yoked up with Jesus to serve “life” to the world, why would we be yoked up with the world to serve “death” to Jesus. Great Word, Billy. Thanks.

Jesus in His earthly ministry is a perfect demonstration and example of what you are talking about. He spent time with those who were lost, hung out with people that the religious crowd didn’t hang with. And they wondered why He did. But all the while, He didn’t adapt their lifestyle. His lifestyle was so powerful, it influenced them to follow Him. The common people heard Him gladly.
