My Week – Oct 13-19

Last week was a very rewarding time for me personally. I had the opportunity to visit Pastor Jim Graff and his wife Tamara in Victoria, Texas. I spoke at Faith Family Church Wednesday night…wow, what a great church and ministry. Wednesday at lunchtime I had the opportunity to speak to the staff on team management. God has put together a great team there.” Tuesday evening I had a chance to do a little “wild hog” hunting with Darrell Burns and Chris Clem…always fun. Thanks for a great time in Texas Pastor Jim.

On Saturday I flew to Raleigh, NC to speak at C3. Pastor Matt Fry and his entire family are in Africa visiting Swaziland and Mozambique and the Children Cup care points that help feed and care for children stricken by AIDS. Pastor Dino Rizzo and HPC have planted churches there and lead an effort to reach the hurting of Africa. Check out www.marthafry.org for updates on their trip.

I was given the topic of “Judas” to speak on at C3. Pastor Matt is doing a series called “Twelve” covering the 12 Apostles. It was a challenge to be life-giving while dealing with such a vile character as Judas. But in the end it was a study and a message that opened my eyes even more to the potential evil we can perpetrate without Christ in our lives.

Thanks to my friends, Jim and Tamara Graff and the C3 staff for a wonderful week. Special thanks to Erin, Clay Baggett, Bradley, at C3 and Darrell Burns in Victoria for making my time with them so rewarding.

Thank you Pastor Billy for coming to C3 this past weekend. Your message was great and it’s always wonderful to see and hear you speak. We miss Pastor Matt and Martha and the kids, but are so blessed when we get to experience the Word and a message from you. You are in our thoughts and prayers and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

    Many blessings,

    Leigh

  2. It’s absolutely awesome how God connects His body, bringing life to each part, every part doing its share to bring expansion to Gods’ kingdom. We are thankful for the way God uses you to bring connection and life to the church.

  3. Awesome report on 2009 goals.
The Frys from the great C3 church were a great blessing here in Swaziland and Mozambique.
Please know you have a standing invitation to come on over an see what several ARC churches are helping to make happen in southern Africa
